THE MARSHAL AND THE MURDERER
A young Swiss art student has been learning pottery in a small pottery
town near Florence. One day she goes out there on the bus and never comes
back. When her body is found a sexual motive seems probable but there
are strange undercurrents in the town, bitter quarrels going back to the
days of fascism and the war. The girl's death brings them to the surface
and tension reaches a dangerous level which almost costs the marshal his
life.
‘Nabb is formidable...an Italian reality tourists rarely glimpse.’
